Social change is teamwork.
The first project is the construction of a photovoltaic system that will provide the children’s village “Ark” with all the necessary electrical power for the needs of the houses and the various activities within the village. The project was implemented with the financial support of the German organization «Renovabis» and Italian engineer Leonardo Nozza’s technical contribution, who after the project of the system, accompanies the various stages of its implementation. The company «Astana Solar» takes part as a local partner, ensuring the installation of solar panels on one of the buildings in the children’s village “Ark”. We hope that this project will be a starting point for other projects that might cater the needs of various institutions.
The project “Our Common Home” is intended to counter the “throwaway culture” through initiatives able to spread awareness that with small daily gestures we can improve the quality of our lives and the lives of our fellow citizens. Lessons in schools, distribution of information materials, creation of points for differentiated waste collection, cooperation with organizations that are committed to the care of the environment, organization of events aimed at a particular purpose, inviting people of different backgrounds to witness the shared commitment, and the belief that “humanity still has the ability to work together in building our common home…and we know that things can change” (Laudato si, 13).
We collect waste paper, plastic, glass and batteries everywhere. Waste paper gives special benefits that give us the ability to support those in need. The plans include the implementation of new ambitious projects, such as our own “production from recycled raw materials.” We welcome everyone to read about it in our news!
