Our mission is based on the nine core principles of Catholic social learning.
We are inspired by the gospel, the teachings of the Catholic Church, and the hopes of people living in poverty. We encourage everyone to respond to humanitarian disasters, to promote holistic human development and to fight against poverty and violence. We revitalize the Catholic community and all people of goodwill in solidarity in the suffering of their brothers and sisters living side by side and around the world.
Through successful partnerships in humanitarian assistance, for the development and transformation of hearts and thoughts in society, Caritas assists in the fight against poverty, encourages justice, and professes nobility. We are trying to meet the needs of those who suffer from old and new types of poverty. At the same time, we are mobilizing our human and material resources and those who share our ideas with us to make our world a common home and a better place.
Caritas seeks a world in which the voices of the poor are heard and influenced. This world does not live under the rule of "globalization of indifference", but there men and women of any race, religion, social status feel that they are part of one human family, where everyone cares about others.
We work with people of all faiths and even with those who have no faith. Caritas strives for a world where the voices of the poor are heard and taken into account, where everyone can thrive freely and live in peace and dignity, and where our natural environment, given by God, is governed responsibly and sustainably for the benefit of all humanity. "The development of peoples depends on the recognition that the human race is one family working together…" (Pope John Paul II).
Caritas fights for a world in which the voices of the poor are heard, where everyone is free to live in peace and dignity, and where our natural environment, given by God, is governed responsibly and sustainably for the benefit of the entire human family.
Caritas Kazakhstan strives for harmony with the outside world.
Care for the Environment
Countless associations flourish in society that work to promote the common good by protecting the natural and urban environment. Connections develop or renew around them, and a new local social structure emerges. This is how society gets rid of consumer indifference. (Pope Francis, Laudato si')
